Basketball Never Stops

Even though the NBA Lockout is going on right now, it isn't stopping NBA Superstars Lebron James (above), Carmelo Anthony, and Kevin Durrant from competing and doing what they love. These guys along with other NBA players gathered at Morgan State University in Baltimore to play an exhibition game last Tuesday night. Kevin Durant scored a game-high 59 points, but his team lost 149-141 to Carmelo Anthony's Baltimore-based Melo League squad, which included Anthony, LeBron James and Chris Paul. LeBron ended up with 32 and Anthony finished with 27. Paul shared the ball, piling up 17 assists. Despite the stats it was the energy that really got people out of their seats. Its little things like this that let us know basketball is going to be okay.

"We want to work it out. We've got to get the fans what they want, and they want to see basketball. They need that and we need it." -Carmelo Anthony #15 New York Knicks
