Gotye- Somebody That I Used To Know (Neon Stereo Remix)

Australian beat smith, Neon Stereo, has impressed us in the past with his massive collection of remixes. This time he turns up the womps and wobbles with his latest reinterpreted version of Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know. It's somewhat of a sappy tune that you wouldn't think would have much behind it until Stereo applies the BASS about forty seconds in. Check out the track below and be sure to listen to more of Neon Stereo's work over at his official SoundCloud found here.

Basketball Never Stops

Even though the NBA Lockout is going on right now, it isn't stopping NBA Superstars Lebron James (above), Carmelo Anthony, and Kevin Durrant from competing and doing what they love. These guys along with other NBA players gathered at Morgan State University in Baltimore to play an exhibition game last Tuesday night. Kevin Durant scored a game-high 59 points, but his team lost 149-141 to Carmelo Anthony's Baltimore-based Melo League squad, which included Anthony, LeBron James and Chris Paul. LeBron ended up with 32 and Anthony finished with 27. Paul shared the ball, piling up 17 assists. Despite the stats it was the energy that really got people out of their seats. Its little things like this that let us know basketball is going to be okay.

"We want to work it out. We've got to get the fans what they want, and they want to see basketball. They need that and we need it." -Carmelo Anthony #15 New York Knicks

Woah, Kardashians

The business oriented sisters everyone knows as The Kardashians have been all the hype these days and boy have they outdone themselves once again. Rolling Stones/Vogue photographer, Annie Leibovitz, had the pleasure of shooting the Kardashian's latest marketing campaign for their Sear's clothing line and lets just say there isn't much "clothing" involved. The sister's sure do know what sells, we'll hand it to them. If only the television show could feature more of their promiscuous clothing line. We can only hope.

Get Shook

Holand DJ/Producer Shook has been climbing to the top of every hype chart on the internet and its not hard to see why. The dude brings the funk with his heavy-synthed out electro style and his trademark shades which are said to give him magical powers which he goes more in depth about at his official website found here. Remixes these days often lose the original feel of the tune, but not with our man Shook. The young producer has mastered marinating his style within a tune, all while keeping the original feel of it. Check out some of his hit tracks below and listen for yourself. I guess what they always say is true; "The sun never sets on a bad-ass."

James Blake & Bon Iver Collaboration

Throughout the past year, James Blake has told reporters countless times that one of his biggest influences was Bon Iver. During SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX, Blake had the opportunity to actually meet Iver where they exchanged the idea of making a collaboration. Sure enough half a year later, the collaborated track "Fall Creek Boys Choir" arose, memorizing fans across the globe. The collaboration is all that it was expected to be and more. Check out the tune below and get memorized yourself. Enjoy!

Pick Your Poison Remix

A couple weeks ago we raved about Diplo and Datsik's collaboration "Pick Your Poison". When we first listened to the tune we knew there could be something awesome about it, but couldn't figure it out. Face it, two big names like that will get anyone excited. It wasn't until we heard the tune remixed that it was clear what a great combination of noise it really is. Our boy Diplo recently "retweeted" this impressive remix of the dubstep collaboration put together by DJ Swizzymack. The DJ/Producer out of Philadelphia, PA adds his flavor to the original idea of Diplo and Datsik and reminds us why its so epic. Check out the remix below and be sure to visit DJ Swizzymack's official Sound Cloud found here.

Talib Kweli Ft. Jean Grae- Uh Oh (Official Video)

Talib Kweli recently released his new music video, visualizing his critically acclaimed Gutter Rainbow LP. The video "Oh-Uh" delivers a dark portrayal of Kweli's new tune with a very mischievous storyline to say the least. There is also a guest appearance collaboration from Jean Grae who really helps polish the video off. Nevertheless, Kweli's production goes hard in this one, making a statement for female MCs like Jean Grae around the world. Check out the video above and see for yourself.
